Sunshine Coast Riding for the Disabled (RDA) Inc. is a not-for-profit organisation providing equine-based therapeutic and recreational riding and driving programs for all members of the disability community on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland.

Our program days are Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. We are closed Sunday and Monday. We are aligned with the State School system, so are operational during school terms and on holidays when the schools are on holidays.

Sessions for 2017 have commenced !
Green week Group Therapy rides commenced on Tues 7th February.
Orange week Group Therapy rides will commence on 14th February

Carriage Driving will commence on Fri 10th February.
Hippotherapy will commence on Tues 14th February.

Arena Hire
Yes, we do hire out our undercover arena and outdoor arena! If you are interested, go to Other Activities > Arena Hire to find all the relevant information and forms.

Latest News 

Did you miss out on a voucher for $150 in the latest round that opened in January?
The QLD Govt is re-opening this round to allow more children and young people to access these vouchers.

The Annual General Meeting for Sunshine Coast Riding for the Disabled (RDA) Inc. will be held on Tues 28th February 2017 at 2 Monak Rd, North Arm at 5.30 pm. A catered dinner will follow at 7pm with guest speaker, Justin Vievers.

DRESSAGE and WORKSHOP / COMPETITION DAY - Sunday 19th March at our centre 2 Monak Rd, North Arm.
Information on this event can be found HERE.
Featuring Interschool Beginner Level Showman Classes and includes in-hand, dressage and rider classes. Also includes the new 2017 Para Equestrian Dressage tests.
Workshop commences at 9 am, Competition commences at 1 pm.

Sunshine Coast RDA are celebrating Qld Women's Week with a workshop inspiring athletes - inspiring coaches.

This Equestrian Australia program will continue on a fortnightly basis on a Saturday afternoon.

2017 program commences on 21st January at 2pm with induction activities.

New Volunteer Training - Orientation and Induction
From October 2016, new volunteers will be offered Orientation and Induction on the first Wednesday afternoon of each month, commencing on Wed 5th October from 1pm.
Come along to see the programs in action and meet our wonderful team.
 All new volunteers welcome!

Noosa Council is interested in learning about your participation in Sport and Active Recreation.
Many of you access our programs, and whilst our Centre is not in Noosa Council region, we may be able to access funding dependent on the number of Noosa residents who come to our Centre. Just complete the survey by 28 February and comment that you need to go outside Noosa Council area to access these programs.

Thanks to the wonderful team of Volu nteers, the Saddlery Shop in Yandina now has new opening hours.
It will be open Monday - Friday from 10am - 4pm,
Saturdays from 9am - 1pm.
